The NMK914 Captain Willard 6105 SKX Conversion Case in Polished Gold Finish pays homage to the now legendary 1976 Seiko Diver Ref. 6105-8110 "Captain Willard", most famously known as the watch was worn on screen by Captain Willard, portrayed by Martin Sheen in the cult-classic “Apocalypse Now”. We love the funky pillow shaped case that started it all!

I got the case + endlinks (and case back, crown)
The case and individual parts are well finshed, and mostly fit well.
The case shape is oblong and rounded and not true to the captn willard shape. The squared off cptn willard fits better and is more snug on the wrist
The case was NOT shipped with fatbars, and the bottom end links flexes and introduces a rattle and gap. The top endlink seems to sit snug with no flex in it.
The case finish is excellent. Parts mostly fit well with each other (well mostly, see "ugly" section below). Individual parts are the good "Namoki quality" that we've come to expect.
I was expecting a case shape that was closer to the Cptn Willard. This case shape was significantly more Turtle-ly than Willard.
The Willard case is squared off near the lugs giving it a super compact lug-to-lug look. This case shape is rounded off in an oblong sort of a way.
IMHO, I am taking away 1 star out for not staying true to original
I tend to wear watches with bracelets in my collection more, than I wear on rubber or NATO straps. I specifically purchased this case with endlinks to put it on a bracelet. This case+endlinks do not come with fatbars.
The top side endlink fits perfectly. the bottom endlink has a significant flex revealing a horizontal gap under the bezel. I am not sure if this is because of the thinner spring-bar having flex or because the fit is not good, but the endlink rattles and flexes while wearing it.
Still, the figurative glass is 1/2 full is because the top one stays put, so admirers can admire from the other side. I will take out 1 star for the fit here.
As usual namokimods has done it again. Just added a little personal touch by doing a slight acid etch and stonewash.
